BABY TALK
Cohen still had a fever this morning so David took him to the doctor. The doc said it was either a viral infection or the start of pnemonia. He started his first antibiotic today. The doctor said his lungs didn't sound clear at all. Poor Coey! Dave stayed home with him today. Tomorrow, we'll split the day. Hopefully, he'll be well soon.

In other baby news, Cohen still has no teeth. He's 81/2 months old now. Where are those things? It doesn't stop him from eating, though. He eats lots of snacks now--wagon wheels, dried fruit, crackers, fruit puffs and diced fruit and veggies. And don't even think about eating in front of him unless you plan to share.

He's still not a sophisticated crawler. His teachers said he was scooting around on his butt at school, but we haven't seen it at home. He's rolls around, crawls backwards and is trying to pull up. I'm pretty sure he's going to take off any day now. He recognizes words. I think his favorite is bath. Asking him if he wants to take a bath is a sure way to win a smile. :)

We still have a lot of "firsts" go go, but we have already had the "first" haircut. Amazingly, he already needs his second. The picture is Cohen after his haircut and the talent that cut it, Mrs. Marianne Vaughn!

FAMILY TALK

Everyone else is doing well. Sebastian seems to be better. That's great news. We have been blessed in every direction. I have lots of Christmas gift ideas for Dave if anybody needs them. I also need some ideas on the names I drew. Hint, hint, Aunt Billie. We're praying for Bill and Popi. Please also pray for our friends Jordan and Patience. Patience is pregnant with a baby boy, yet they already know the baby has a heart defect and will require three open heart surgeries or a heart transplant to survive. The mother-in-law of Dave's sister, Kim, is battling cancer. Please keep her in your prayers as well.

Has everybody ordered their XanGo, yet???

See you all at Thanksgiving. I'm bringing another one of my fantastic desserts that someone else makes.

If Cohen is well, I'll be at mom and dad's this weekend. If I don't see you this weekend, I'll see you then. I'm looking forward to it!

Good night...
